Bought my folio gold trim at a shop but it's nib broke and got stuck into the cap, then after removing it it broke a lil then I was restricted to not put on the cap for 2 years then it broke completely, spare parts unavailable so don't buy.

If you are a beginner I would not recommend buying this pen. because it is made out of a type of metal that is pretty heavy and may give you an ache while writing. Plus I didn't like the feel of the pen during the initial days and had I gradual flow but I started liking it as soon as I got the beat of writing more. This pen has a fine nib and this makes it worse during the initial time. I would advise you to use a converter instead of a cartridge since the ink is very faded-looking from the cartridge. The only thing that I didn't like is that you can only use Parker-made components for your pen which makes it less inclusive. The converter capacity is also very small.Otherwise, if you are a penaholic and would like to add this to your collection, it's a great pick. It's worth it for the price, so go and grab it if you want it

Only good about this is its look, but we buy fountain pens for writing which is bad, scratchy. From the house of parker I don't expect such a product.
