Very, very sturdy. I have dropped it close to 15 times, and only small parts of the tap broke off which I managed to put back with fevikwik. Keeps the water cool for around 8 hours. Effective, reliable, useful.

First, it does what it is supposed to do. I pour in two trays of ice cubes and get chilled water for at least 4-5 hours. Beyond that too, the water is cold for at least another 2 hours. I live in a very hot state so that counts. I use it daily because I work in a room that is exposed to the sun from 2 sides. This would be a good choice for a short picnic...Second, it is very easy to clean. The filter, though rudimentary, works most of the time. Very small particles will get through once you remove the cotton piece (which you have to, and soon).I like this product and would buy it again, but here are the drawbacks:1. Big issue: the rivets on the top cover are pathetic. You have to work GENTLY to place the rivets in tune with the ridges inside the jug. If the angle varies by 5 degrees, you will end up with a frustratingly tight cover that will take more than 2 people to unwind.2. My refrigerator only accommodates 750ml bottles, and when I use 4 of them this jug fills up (with the two trays of ice cubes). Even considering the displacement by ice, this is no more than 4 or max 4.5 ltrs. This actually bugs me, the poster trying to fake the capacity without even trying it!3. The tap leaks. I have used such containers for decades. But this one - when you pick it up you can bet the tap will leak a few drops onto your floor. Not a biggie, but annoying. It doesn't matter how tight you close the knob. It drips as soon as you even tilt the thing.
