I have been using this granite "tawa" for over a month now. It's EXCELLENT. I find it very easy to use. Unlike other iron or non-stick tawas, food doesn't stick on it. The rotis just glide on it. Superb quality. Very happy with this purchase.Word of caution: the first 1-2 times, the "tawa" will emanate a weird smell. Not sure why, but after a couple of uses, this will go away...

Extreamly cheap, I can't imagine anything better than this. words fail, go for it, if you hate you dough sticking on stupid "highly priced-hyped- Hard anodised Tava's...they are just like scams...those tava's are not at all non-stick tava...this granite finish tava is ultra light, modern, and hyper non-stick.please gift this to your mother, sister, gf, any body who-so-ever you think would make a good use of it. for my dosa now i don't need to go any resturant, i can make it at home without any silly stickyness. bye bye to futura

the coating doesnt last too long....the idea for using any non stick is not to use oil and we indians have a habit of putting oil....oil affects non sticks and no matter how much u avoid putting oil...our habits die hard...if u can adjust without oil, the product is best and if u add oil time to time...the product will lose its coating...!!!!one more thing you can do is...u can wash the tawa properly after use!!it best works without oil and will last long!!

Burns the dosa as center has caved in . Also yesterday the coating started to chip off during washing...so can't use it for cooking, neither can it be given free to servant for her domestic use.ad coating has come off. Have scrapped it.

I have used it to make crepes, pancakes, dosas, omelette without oil - Nothing sticks to the tawa. While making paranthas, very little oil is required. Tawa heats up pretty fast.Advice:1) not to cook on high heat 2) avoid putting water when tawa is hot, let it cool down on its own. 3) use plastic scrubber to wash.Amazon delivered within a day, packaging was alright.
