Ppl tell cooking in cast iron enhances taste but I didn't find such enhancement when cooked dosa on this tawa. Also when spread across , dosa not evenly getting crispy esp near the raised edges . After spending this much money , I'm not satisfied with its performance. Also small dosas only v can make.At the centre it's raised slightly so when u oil it , the oil slides down towards the raised edges n get collected there. This type of design also I didn't like it. Could have bought normal design dosa tawa

1. Packing was good.2. it was preseasoned3. Always before putting the batter first follow these steps, first of all grease the tawa with generous amount of oil on high flame when the tawa is really hot, make the flame low then sprinkle water on the tawa, wipe that water with a Cloth and then put the batter and cook dosa on high flame. Follow this and your dosa will come superb.Fu?l stars for the product and good delivery by Silkrute.

This is my first cast iron product. At first i taught it was big mistake Buying this dosa tawa. Dosas were sticking to the center. Later i seasoned it twice followed the instructions in the manual. Finally i got good result. Its all about maintaining the heat, patience is the key. It cooks little slower than non stick tawa but dosas taste much better than non stick tawa dosas. Dosas were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Very happy with the product. Worth the money

I am pleased with this product. Any food with batter cooks well along with paranthas. It is easy to clean and needs only a gentle touch, dry it up and then apply oil. I am a bit disappointed that the manual comes not as a proper booklet but as stapled photocopies! Initially, I found it heavy but it's worth all the hassle and eventually, it's not a problem anymore.

This is best Dosa Tawa ever. I have tried many different brands, but this the one that has given the best results. I made plain dosa, Masala dosa, onion dosa, egg dosa, uthappam, etc., everything came out perfectly.Just ensure to keep the right flame, not too high and not too less. Also, need it wash it, wipe and oil it after each use to retain the tawa as it is.Thanks a lot Bhagya Cast Works, please continue the good job.
