We ordered this item but it is little different than it shown in picture. It doesn't have two sides to hold. Please ensure that you get what you order. Performance, it is good so far. We got it two weeks back and used only twice. You should follow some of the tips to maintain the cast iron utensils, i.e., season it regularly to get an effect of non-stickiness.

After some not so good experience with my previous cast iron tawa, I had an amazing experience using this one. For the 1st time use, I thought my initial few dosas will not come out good as usually it doesn't, but i was surprised to see all dosas coming out so nicely right from the 1st dosa itself. I am very happy and satisfied with this Bhagya cast iron tawa.

Happy to buy this tawa. It is heavy and of good quality. There are no flaws in it.Did pre seasoning by rubbing regular cooking oil and heating tawa for over 30 mts on very low flame. Then tried dosa but they broke.Not giving up after 2 hours again did seasoning. This time used mustard oil. Rubbed it all over tawa and this time used medium to high flame for 20 minutes. After cooling it cleaned it.Tried making Dosa. This time cut an onion and dipped it in little regular cooking oil and rubbed it over pre heated tawa. Dosa was perfect and crisp. Just like hotel it was. Was overjoyed by the success. Seasoning is very important and do not forget to use onion before making dosa.Buy this tawa without hesitation. Company mark is there on rear side. Tawa is uniformly thick and heats up very well. It is flat and has no issues.

Bought this awesome.. worth the time and money pan .. Bhagya cast iron.. No words to explain.. It was all a magic, i would say. Just because, i was seasoning it for 3 to 4 days by applying oil and heating in low flame. Then in morning, when I used it for the first time, it came out well for 1st one and from second to five six dosas it was all sticking to the pan?? i was dumbstruck. But even then i had a strong belief that it was a quality one, only thing is I need to some patience. Then i washed in normal water and applied some salt and oil and washed & heated in low flame with good amount of oil for some 5 mins. Then i tried making dosa, the result is in front of you. Doubted and made another dosa, that too came out well like non stick pan. ?????? I totally love it. I'm giving it 5 stars and would highly recommend bhagya cast iron dosa pan. Will definitely try other products of bhagya.. ??
