The Futura Hard Anodised Handi (Saucepan) is a modern version of the traditional Indian cooking utensil used for flavourful less-water cooking. Water poured into the specially-designed moat on the lid condenses the steam that rises from the food simmering in the Handi which forms droplets on the underside thus making delicious tender and moist food. The Handi Instruction Manual includes recipes of such favourites as Dum Aloo (Potatoes in Thick Gravy) Paneer Pasanda (Cottage Cheese Simmered in Spices and Cream) Handi Chicken (Chicken Simmered in Gravy) and Mutton Biryani (Rice Layered with Spicy Mutton). The pans have strong stay-cool plastic handles which are permanently riveted to the pans. The Hard Anodised finish on these pots will stay looking new for years.
