USAGE: 1 year PROBLEM: When heated the bottom part gapes out and make crackling sound (see video). Often gas leaks and no whistle comes up. WARRANTY NOT HONORED: I went to the service center as the product was under warranty. They made me run to service center 3 times during covid19 situation. Service Center finally said that the welding of bottom part is gone and cannot be repaired. However, they will not replace the product as it was heated in high temperature. According to them the product is supposed to be be used in medium temperature only and warranty holds only if the product cracks in the body. They offered to replace the product only if I paid half the price, how ridiculous is that. Completely frustrating experience. First a product meant to be heated and work in such conditions for decades stops working after it is heated within a year. I am not using it in industrial conditions. Companies like Prestige just try to find one or other excuse to not honor their sub-standard products. Secondly not only they refused to honor the warranty but also try to sell another sub standard product once again. The worst part was that they made me run to the service center thrice. If the problem was something outside warranty, they could have told me to that it wouldn't be replaced on first time itself.
