After seeing few reviews I was really skeptical about buying it on amazon but finally bought it as I had a good amount of cash in my amazon wallet. The package came in a very proper way with every piece intact and well kept. I used the pressure cooker recently to make pulav. It cooks well. However one problem i found out is the pressure cooker takes time to whistle when compared to a my another cooker with the same amount of heat given to both the cookers. And the pressure cooker lid is a little tight. otherwise till now it is serving us good.

Blindly Buy! Ignore the negative reviews because this cooker is Completely Safe to Use. Just match the 2 silver raised dots on the stainless steel lid with the horizontal 1 cm black line on the black handles of the cooker/handi & twist/rotate & then it is Perfectly Locked & Absolutely Safe. Better to use wooden spatulas or cooking spoons but steel ones are also okay. Cleaning is very easy but better use green Scotch Brite than steel wool. If Red & Yellow colours along with some new colours were available, then this Pigeon cooker would have absolute Monopoly in the market! Sadly only black colour is available. Very boring but Yes cooker is Very Essential! Happy Cooking!

1. The build quality of the product is pretty good (except cooker lid). 2. Easy to use and wash 3. But using it as a Pressure cooker is very risky. I was already sceptical looking at some reviews where the cooker ended up exploding due to pressure. The whistle feels heavy and compared to a standard cooker and this one takes twice the amount of time for the whistle to go off. The food within is either uncooked (too much moisture left out) and if given additional whistle it'll end up burning the content (rice especially)

Highly Disappointed with the product.. defected, broken,loosened screws, loose lid. The very next day I raise a request to exchange the product,but nothing happened. Now I cancelled the previous request to raise return request. But it says we cannot return the product now as the time duration of return the product is finished.
