A few important things missing in this product:1. there is not central (vertical) handle which you can hold and lower down the idly plates. You don't have enough space to hold the small hinges and lower them inside.2. When the idly (or similar items) are done, the lid of the container is heated. Now, if you want to pull off the lid, there's a high chance that you'll touch the metal around the knob, as the rubber insulation is on a very small area.
