It is heavy as indicated in discription. Made of good iten. After washing we can see the red marks of iron oxide on it. It is heavy to use. It is induction cooker friendly and gas stove friendly also. Good product for your health.

The kadai per se was sturdy but had a xrack that was sealedRhe whole purpose of buying prestige over other local brands was defeated due to bad quality checksAlso of you were like me who had prestige omega and thought the lid would fit this lid (since both we apparently 26), it won't either !

There is coating of black power on the kadai. After the first wash and first cooking , the coating starts to come off and once the coating ( the balck power coating) is gone, it start to rust like a normal kadai. This is not worth the price it is mentioned as you will get the same quality of material from local kirana market. Atleast it will be pure cast iron without black coating.DO NOT GET FOOLED LIKE ME
