Writing this review after a week of using this product. Honestly- I was feeling bad that I didn't purchase this utensil much earlier! It is just awesome to cook in this..no burnt food while frying, the biryani didn't get burnt at the bottom..first time I guess in my home ;-)..while deep frying masalas..i used to struggle to keep food from getting burnt..not anymore when using this vessel..it takes less rhan half of the efforts..food cooks evenly!We bought the set of 6 n 3ltr vessels..absolutely happy with the purchase n just regret that I didn't buy this much earlier.

This cook and serve bowl is very sturdy. The bottom is very thick and food doesn't stick. It functions like a nonstick cookware. Always go for hawkins cookware rather than other brands. It will be a good investment.

The product is very good especially if you want to prepare biryani or pulav which usually cooks in low flame . This helps in saving your LPG consumption. I bought this product especially for making biryani . The product is little fragile so handle it with care .

I was bit skeptical to buy this looking at the price. So tried this 4L one. But to my surprise, it’s amazing. It’s thick bottom distributes heat evenly and keeps food hot for more time after cooking. Cleaning is not a prob at all. I personally do not use steel spoons although it says we can. I use plastic or soft sponge to wash to keep it looking good for years to come.

It is easy to clean in most cases but when used for boiling milk and similar products, you have to scrap the surface of the utensil with steel scrub. About its sturdiness, the handle of it broke very easily, although the base utensil seems pretty sturdy.
