The lid is good quality steel, very sturdy. However the top black knob holder was given separately.. i had to fix it to the lid. But the tiny opening given to fix the knob was not smooth. It was difficult to fix the black knob.

What I like: Purchased for this specific purpose, it is great with the Tawa Good workmanship Good dome for Dosa (steam retention) The perfect match for the Meyer Tawa - highly recommended Did not Like: A bit expensive (Not a big complaint though)

Had bought the lid as a cover for dosa. Made the right decision by going for it! Lid is made of quality steel heavy gauge , comes with a heat resistant knob, and has a perfect dome shape so that it could be used as dosa cover. Lid is large enough to be paired with my 30 inch cast iron tawa and came with a spare knob for lid. Would strongly recommend this product! Go for it..
