I got the product that's being used up earlier as it has having black spots on the Stainless steel plate, otherwise the product seem to be good for an on and off use.

The whole set is really good. Additional plus over others is...the idli cavity size is good. 7-7.5 cm . I had to return some good idli makers earlier because of small idli sizes. This one solves the issue .

This is my 2nd buy for this product. The first one was just perfect so ordered 2nd one as gift. However the lid does not fit easily, and once you close it, it is too tight to remove. You literally need 2 people, one to hold the hot pot with napkin, the other to lift the lid. So you can not keep checking on idlis if they are cooked while on gas, because it is impossible to remove lid with one hand. Please test the lid design, it should be wider by 2-3 milimeters more. Right now it is exactly as wide as the pot.
