Delivery was on time . Packaging was great. The delivered product was in perfect brand new condition. Hawkins triply steel quality is far better than any other brand. It doesn't at all get burn. It distributes heat perfectly. I cook 3 times a day in this kadai but it still looks brand new . It's easy to clean and far more durable. The quality is top notch. Just go for it i can't put its awesomeness in words ...! You must have this in your kitchen :)

This is a very very sturdy kadai from Hawkins. From the day I got it, this is my go-to cooking utensil for anything and everything Whether it is for oil fry, or a normal curry, or a gravy, or a dry roast, you name it, and that can be done. It is also very easy to use and clean. Very thick bottom so food will never get burnt. Also the wooden handles lets you hold the vessel without any fear while cooking and also while handling the vessel when it is still hot after cooking.

The kadai in the first look looks good and the handle are really nice and very convenient to use the kadai.The glass lid also feel sturdy and solid and possibly little overweight. But the main feature missing in the glass lid is the vapour escaping hole. The cooking with this kadai also seems to be OK at low to medium flame for frying and cooking.But the drawbacks were revealed after the washing, as the pictures shows. The picture was taken just after one time use. The cooking was done with low to medium flame yet the metalic colour change was seen on the inner side of the kadai after washing with soap and soft scrubber. Stains were seen all around on the outer side of the kadai. Marks were seen where the kadai touches the burner supports.The user manual says it is not diswashable and makes further inconvenient for use.

Highly disappointed!!It's not Induction Compatible. I tried this Kadahi using Philips Induction but it doesn't work on Induction properly at all temperature.#Hawkins, you are well reputed brand, pls don't misguide your customers by providing wrong information. I purchased this item ONLY because of Induction Compatibility as mentioned in the "item title & Description" but ACTUALLY doesn't work. I will try some other brand which is ACTUALLY dual compatible.

I'm writing this review after one month use.Kadaii is very good. Thick bottom, good for everyday use. The only negative side is it is shallow not deep. But the base is wide it is expected.

Good quality steel kadhai. Steel is a healthier option over non stick and aluminum but has its drawbacks that food gets stuck at the bottom if you put it at high heat. With time you get to know how much heat is required to cook food in steel utensils. Overall, the build quality is very good and it is easy yo clean as well. Rememver not to leave it empty on high heat or steel will get burnt with bad marks on the inside.
