I found this item useful. The SS cover plates serve to keep small amount of some items. The only negative I found was that the warmth is not that much preserved. But that is OK. Overall I am satisfied with the product and am using it daily.

Crack developed in one out of 4 tiffin boxes with in 15 days of purchase . I took up the issue with Borosil customer care. Clearly it's quality issue of the product.After constantly communicating with Borosil thru emails, they finally sent replacement today. The other 3 boxes might develop similar crack in near future..who knows.24th November 23In continuation of above review, let me inform that another 280ml box has developed exactly similar crack. It's absolutely clear Borosil quality control is useless. I want replacement of the complete Tiffin box .

The set of 4 containers in two different sizes was almost perfect as I wanted steel leakproof food storage containers for my fridge. Unfortunately they are not sold separately and the only way to buy them is with the lunch bag which is made of insulated synthetic (plastic and foam) material. I am retired and have no use for the bag and hate that it’s not recyclable so also bad for the environment. The bag would be more welcome if it was made out of jute which has natural insulation properties and is good for the environment. Manufacturer please take note. Thanks.
