I brought it so I can carry it in diaper bag and mix baby food on the go. The steel inside and plastic outside plus the handle ensure that I can carry the baby as well as the cup at same time with no risk of baby get burned from hot vessel also its deep so food wont spill when I'm holding it even if it tilts a bit. I won't recommend how ever to carry food in it as the lid is not that tight and may possibly cause spilling. Also if you use steel spoon inside gets scratched up. Overall good product.
