Borosil glassware is supposed to be borosilicate glass - strong, thick, sturdy, built like a tank. Sadly, this is not.Glass broke while filling up. Entire bottom base came out filling it up with biscuits. And this is not laminated glass either: means glass broke with sharp, jagged edges. Never again getti g anything like this near my food that can mix up dangerous sharp shards in the food.

These jars look nice and the glass is of good quality. The rubber seal in the cap folds over easily - therefore jars are not really airtight (ants got to the stuff in the jar)

I use this product to store cooked food in fridge it is very convenient to find them earlier I would have to open three four containers to get what I want,and I put them directly in microwave without lid for reheating and even directly serve in them for meals very convenient I have a shelf full of all types of Borosil containers and cook and serve and I cherish it
