The lid doesn't fit super well. If you happen to hold it by the lid even for a fraction of a second the rubber seal would pull out very easily and you're in danger of breaking the glass. I guess quality control is not a thing most 'brands' follow here.

I bought this because it's made from borosilicate glass, and they are very durable, but this isn't; mine just dropped from the lowest shelf of the fridge and broke down completely.

Advantages
Borosiligate glass items should be sturdier then the soda lime glass products, usually its the case. After receiving this product, when I held it I felt too light, something similar to sods lime glass jar. I don't know why this product is made so light, may be Borosil is cutting cost by saving raw materials. I do not think it will withstand even a slightest drop, and it will fail similarly like any local product. I was planning to buy more products from Borosil, now I dropped that idea completely, good by Borosil!!
