Not sure about the PET number as I saw both number 5 and 1 mentioned in Q&A by the producer in another marketplace. However, bought them since it is of Milton. It is leakproof. Lids are robust. No smell of water even after continuous usage. Got exact same colors shown in the image.

I got an assorted colors pack of 5. Among the 5, only one(Black colour bottle) smells funny and the others are good. Wondering if that is something that has to do with the color. The bottles are sturdy and I like them. Overall a good product to purchase.
