The glasses are very light weight and can withstand quite a bit of heat.The ones I ordered looked a bit like lab beakers ?? but then again I liked the design.One of them however broke upon the slightest impact with another glass so not sure about how sturdy they are.

The cutting of the glass is neat and classy. However the glasses are very light in weight. The only disadvantage of them being light weight is that they may be moved easily when they are empty. They seem very very fragile without any content in it. I HV not used the product yet but Borosilicate is trustworthy.Silkrute delivery service has always been flawless.
