I wasn't sure about this bowl when I bought it. But after a few times of usage in the microwave, I am sure about its quality and durability. It holds well without any damage up to 3 mins of microwaving. I haven't tried for more than that. Good quality glass and heavy. Only disadvantage is that it does not have a grip or a holder at the sides and hence one needs to be careful while handling it. It can easily slip off your hands.

Nice but small in sizeThis one is Appropriate for serving or baking small quantities of stuff ! Simple n sturdy ! Before u order it, please Keep in mind that it can accommodate 450to500 ml only ,the product being of 750 ml quantity ! So u can bake small size cakes in it or serve small quantities !

It's a sturdy dish. Borosil always has maintained it's quality and I have several dishes and bowls that I have been using for years now. This is a very small dish and I made baked macaroni that for just enough for my daughter. So if you want something which is bigger than this is not the dish you would prefer buying. I like the dish as it will be helpful in making baked dishes in small quantities for my daughter.

This Borosil bowl is of 1.6 ltr. I have got original product and it looks same as i expected. Good to make or bake for 2-3 ppl recipes. Though not tried in this to bake but hope it will work good in convection mode as mentioned. These oval bowls are too good design to bake Mexican food.
