It's a study light. It should hold the light at an angle of choice. BUT, the joints in the arms of this light do NOT hold the angle in which the light is set. It keeps drooping and doesn't really serve it's purpose. Tried to return it but Silkrute doesn't allow it. Would not recommend the product.
