Used once 7 am and it was totally gone - no lip residue - by noon. Applied, waited half hour to drink, etc. and still was gone. Nowhere near as good as the other L'Oreal lip stains I've used in the past. OK if you don't mind (and have time) reapplying during the day.

This is my second tube. This is a wet lip tint, feels moisturizing and the color looks vibrant. Unlike a lot of lip colors, this one looks natural at the time you apply and gives a very natural tint as if it is your real lip color!I would give it a five star if it didn't have that chemical smell. But overall, I am very happy with the purchase and the result!!!

This is not a lip stain. It is a colored gloss. It is a bit translucent like most glosses and has to be reapplied about once an hour like most lip glosses. The color was good. The packaging makes it look like a vibrant clown color, but it goes on like a pale burnt orange. If you are looking for a colored lip gloss, this is for you. If you want a lip stain, stick with lipsense. Lipsense is a true lip stain, lasts all day, and does not rub off on glasses, pillows, or your significant other. L'Oreal's won't last through your coffee and does leave a lip print on the glass.

I bought this, then immediately bought two more, since they are no longer made. Lilac Ever After is a my-lips-but-better shade for me, so much like my lip color that it's almost hard to tell that it's on, though it makes me look more pulled together. It definitely has a wet shine look to it (even after it dries) that is a little frosty/metallic, so it's looking a little dated with the matte look being more in style, but I like the subtle shininess. You can also layer it on lip liner or stain if you want to amp up the color. It is not "lilac" or "purple"—the color on me looks a lot like what is pictured in the bottle.
