i don't smoke, yet my lips are dark pigmented probably due to sun exposure, so i can't say whether it will work for smokers or not.But it has worked for me, 80% of my lips have become lighter in shade because of it.I am using it since last one month. Initially i used it twice a day but then i started using it only once at night because i did not like its texture, it feels thick and sticky on lips, you can also apply it during the day if it does not bother you because it have SPF protection and light tint also.i hope that the information provided by me will help you to make decision to buy it.

I was expecting a lot from it but it turned out unsatisfying. Even with the high temperature, it still has a stiff texture. Have been using Burt's Bees but wanted a lip balm with good spf. The ingredients of this product matched my needs but the balm barely glides with its dry consistency.
