The Wild Indian Rose from Kannauj is steam distilled the traditional way to make this 100% natural pristine rose water that refreshes and hydrates your skin. Kannauj is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh the perfume capital of India. Roses are handpicked their petals removed cleaned and then steam-distilled in the traditional way. About 200 kg of petals yield about 1 ml of pure rose essential oil. The distillate left behind after this process is pure rose water which is an excellent skin toner refresher pore-minimiser and helps balance the ph of the skin. It also controls excess oil. The anti-inflammatory properties help in reducing the redness of irritated skin and is also a great toner that aids in removing oil and dirt accumulated in clogged pores.

One of my favourites when it comes to rosewater??. It has a very mild scent which is amazing. as soon as you smell it you know its in its pure form. It does not have that synthetic smell to it which is exactly how real rose waters should be. The spray in itself is very soft. Very gentle on the skin, does not irritate the skin. Its summers and it's way too hot where I live and this has become one of my go to product to refresh my skin when in need.

The main thing I look for when I get a rose water is that it is steam distilled or not. This one is steam distilled and without any added colour or smell which is an amazing part. Plus, comes in a spray bottle and the nozzle is perfect. Only thing is that rose water should come in a tinted bottle to maintain its purity, which this one isn't, and that's the reason I am just not overwhelmed with this. Otherwise if they change it to a tinted spray bottle, it is just perfect ??
