Kohl pencils are an absolute must haves but the ones which are smoother than butter are probably best.In my experience the pencil is a versatile one as one can create various eye looks with it. It is water resistant, so if your lids get wet it won't go away! But,the only downside is that it's not smudge proof! So if you rub on it accidentally it'll fade away. For me personally my eyelids are not oily so it stays on for hours, but someone who has oily lids I'd recommend setting it in with some black eyeshadow! ?? Otherwise for this price point it's a nice option!
