This soap doesn't have much "fat" or glycerine to lubricate the face well. Using the pre-shave oil (that they gave with the soap for free) helps a lot, but still is not upto the mark for me. I guess I am not a "shave soap" person. Otherwise, the soap's presentation is great. And it smells nice but not overpowering. Update Jan 2020: I started adding 3-6 drops of the pre-shave oil into the puck before lathering and swirled the brush 50-100 times in the puck. It has made a huge difference to the lather thickness and glide. Update Feb 2020: After starting to use Trigodon, I now know how a fatty soap should feel like. I need to swirl the brush 5-10 times in the puck of Trigodon (vs. 50-100 times in PinkWoolf). I would not buy pink woolf again. Update Aug 2020: I realize now why this soap is so dry. Its largely glycerine based. So it takes a lot more swirls of the brush (50-100 swirls) to get decent lather and that lather dries out quickly. Trigodon is largely coconut oil based so lather is enduring. Update April 2023: After using Pre De Provence 63, It is even more next level than Trigodon. And I use it as a soap stick. Wet the face and rub the soap on the face. and then lather with a wet brush. On a per gram basis, Trigodon is cheaper than PinkWoolf!! And if you can get Pre De Provence 63 from US, its even cheaper than Trigodon.

Pink wolf has introduced some of the best shaving products in the market. This shaving soap is one of them. It provides rich, slick lather with heavenly aroma. Mind you shaving would not be a monotonous task for you after using this product. I also received a sample aftershave balm with the pack. Thanks and kudos to the Pink Wolf team which has introduced products which are almost at par with some of the western shaving products.

Good product. Has a wonderful sent. Lathers all right and it’s quality can be better. Tends to dry up soon. Otherwise amongst all the product I have used it is definitely one of the better ones.

I got this because we are looking for a shave soap that will travel, and won't irritate my husband's skin, though it's too soon to say about this last. Shave gels tend to go solid, so I thought a block rather than a gel or cream would work. So far, so good. No complaints!

Right from the size , the packaging and the aroma, this is probably the best shaving soap Ive ever used. I feel so proud that its an Indian Artisanal work which is infact much better than the renowned Big names such as Proraso , Pennhaligon etc. The lather is promptly generated with superlatively buttery smooth feel on the face which leaves you thanking the heavens. Given the scent, this is a perfect balance of superior notes with the perfect dash of sophistication. Keep up the great work and as always, looking forward for more such delightfully fragrant shaving soap which indeed make the art of shaving a regimen, rather than just a chore in the morning

I was searching for a good shaving soap at a reasonable price to replace the tin foams which I always felt guilty of adding to environmental hazards while using. This one fits in perfectly to that thought. With just a little rub with a good shaving brush, it can give a rich lather which feels good even after the shave. Mildly scented and soft on the skin. Strongly recommend this

For the last 18 years, I had been facing issues wrt shaving because I have a sensitive skin type. I had tried multiple brands of shaving creams, foam etc. however, every time I would end up with painful skin post-shaving. The experience with Pinkwoolf shaving soap has however been completely different. Am so glad that finally, we have a truly 100% natural solution (absolutely zero chemicals!) for shaving. My skin is in shape that I can shave consecutively on the second day, which I have never been able to do in the last 18 years!

EXPENSIVE: Pink Woolf (Oudh & Sandalwood) costs 7.18/Gram Trigodon (Woodland Umber) costs 7.81/Gram While I found Trigodon Shaving soap to be much superior to Pink Wolf. The Pears soap @Rs 20 for 60g can be used as a good shaving soap. Why is Pink Wolf charging more? What makes it so much better than Pears soap? I couldn't find anything special for which it charges so much money. The smell is much strong than my liking. The lather dries up while shaving & the blade would be then good enough for small stroke.
