Was impressed by the positive reviews and wished to try this product. I remember my Dad, Grandfathers and Uncles using Godrej shaving rounds as a kid. But even they switched to shaving cream as I grew up to shaving age. My regular shave kit is Godrej menthol shaving cream, synthetic brush and a Gillette 5 track blade. I do experiment with the entire range of Gillette gel and foam but find myself coming back to Godrej. Work from home allowed me to stay unshaven for a few days to try out this product. Timely delivery, attractive package and a few words hand written thanking me. The lather was creamier and heavier than the other things I have tried. That is a definite positive in my books. The scent is sweetish with the Oudh heavier than Sandal. My daughter says I smell like paan. It is not offensive but perhaps I would not like to move around office smelling like paan. So this will be my weekend shave until I can try a different scent. Final thoughts - Definitely recommended. Will try their other products soon.

This is a great shaving soap. Good lather which is sleek and helps give a great shave. The aroma is enticing and regal, of sandalwood and oudh. I have other variants too like seabuckthorn and aloe, that too is great fresh aroma

This was my first time shaving so I don't have a line to compare it against but it works real well however you have to use a mug to lather it. It gets real messy in the tin itself plus Subodh, the owner of pink wolf gave me a complimentary aftershave which was brilliant

So I wanted to take some time and use this before I reviewed the product. To begin with, this is just what I wanted, awesome. The product arrived well packed in a cardboard box. Hands down, applause to the Brand, presentation was just perfect. Now comes usage. A. It gives a rich lather as it should and one can really feel the difference in razor glide compared to usual shaving creams. B. Doesn't leave the skin irritated or dry. I usually dab an aftershave, just to moisturize, get some fragrance and sterilize any cuts (when shaving in a hurry, damn). But I didn't need one with this. The sandalwood and oud fragrance is just right and I didn't get cuts even in a hurried shave with razor running over some swollen sunburn. Great product and I'd recommend this to all wet shaving enthusiasts. If you have a safety or straight razor, dump the cream and get this stuff

The shaving soap comes in a good, solid plastic jar, with a screw-down cover. The scent, when opened, is refreshingly pleasant. It does, however, take a skill to whip up a lather from the soap (note: this is NOT because the soap is faulty, but, because most of us are used to getting instant lather from gels/creams that come out of a tube). Once the brush is lathered, the texture of the lather is rich, and creamy. The scent is subtle, so, do not expect a striking scent as you shave. Overall, good value for money, and a nice product. A trifle overpriced, though.
