Dabur is innovating like crazy. Perhaps greater competition and user acceptance of traditional cures rather than Allopathic ones are a reason. In their Hajmola range of digestion-aid pills, the newest flavour is Anardana (Pomegranate flavour).Does it taste like the Anardana Churan? Not even remotely. While Anardana churan is quite flavourful and rich in sweetness, Hajmola has only a slight hint of it. The digestion aid properties of Anardana Churan are questionable as I feel that those are being made only to cater to the taste-buds and have no medicinal properties. The Hajmola on the other hand has proven formulation that is sure to help middle-aged folks like me get the Chicken Biryani digested in a day.Of the four flavours of Hajmola that I have tried, the Imli (Tamarind) flavour is the yummiest and the original flavour is my favourite with Pudina (Mint) and Anardana flavours falling somewhere in between.
