Urban Platter is no longer a premium brand or exotics, its become an exotic brand of very averageness, and this reflects in their Yerba Mate Tea too. This tea is clean and dust-free but is quiet weak and not very effective compared to Chado or Matero (too expensive and filled with debris).

I hardly write reviews. But this is serious and whoever is fooling people by writing good reviews about this product dosent know what is good quality Yerba Mate. I have lived in Argentina for 10 years and Yerba Mate is my muse. This product might have some bit of Yerba Mate but very weak or mixed with some other tea. Will ask for a return. If you really want to have Yerba Mate please go for Matero

Tastes like green tea, with a hint of chocolatey essence. Does gives a feeling of freshness after having. I tried with only moderate amount of leaves per cup, so not sure how it will taste if used in higher quantity as shown in ads or videos. Still, I prefer fresh Assam tea over this.
