Wow I had NO CLUE Chicory could taste this bad! It's roasted to almost burnt so it tastes burnt and much more bitter than it should. I've had some fabulously roasted subtle flavored chicory and this is such a huge let down. Not returnable either, which I think they expect since it's horrible stuff. Also has way too much dust in it. You'd need a coffee filter paper, because in a cup of this chicory you'd have half a cup of sedimentation. Unbelievably bad stuff and absolute waste of money.

It depends what you want. If you want coffee like flavour you'll be disappointed. But as a generic flavouring agent in milk etc it's ok.It leaves a granular deposit when mixing in cold milk.

The powder is not dissolving completely and leaving a residue in the cup. Flavor is bitter, so close to coffee flavor. I will definitely try another brand.

Worse chicory I but in India. When I opened the box I felt strong smell of burnt! Is not instant! All the powder remain at the bottom of cap. Test is not rosted chicory but something burnt.Very big delusion.
