the masala is hot, salty and has sour taste as well. (Can think of like a maggi masala, but flavor different). So my kids liked it. Can sprinkle on noodles, soups, breads etc. It gets spoilt very soon. in our case it became wet 9may be veause of slat content?) within one month.So either store properly or finish the bottle quickly as possible.

Its nice, I eat spicy food and I'm happy with the taste of Keya's Piri Piri seasoning. Become a prime member and get most of the items delivered for free. It's reasonably priced comparing it with the MCD's Piri Piri. 5gms of piri piri at MCD is sold for 25/- so its 5/- per gram and Keya sells Piri Piri of 80gms at 80/- so its 1/- per gram. However I shouldn't compare the pricing as MCD is a whole commercial food retail chain.

Piri piri is an interesting name for the African Bird's-Eye pepper, or African Red Devil pepper.Mc D fries ???? introduced us to the punchy flavour and sure I was hooked.I bought this brand with the hope to recreate the magic at home but the flavours are off the mark.On its own the flavour is interesting and most of us in the family enjoy it but it is lot different from the mc d version.The piri piri from keya is hot and sweet ( a little more sweet I would say) and garlicky and some more Italian spices thrown in.It catches moisture easily and then the sprinkling will be tough.So keep it tightly closed.They have three kinds of slots for sprinkling which is a good feature. And don't forget to remove the sticker on the lid otherwise you will keep struggling with opening the correct slot.Hope this helps !

Not sure if this is indeed the flavour of the African piripiri pepper but it is nevertheless tasty. It has a smoky, earthy chilli powder flavour and it is sweet. It doesn't mention that it contains celery, but I do smell that as well. However, I would recommend that you eat it as soon as you sprinkle it out of the can because both the smell and the flavour thin out quickly. This is why I don't think it works too well as a spice powder for cooking (say for example making a piripiri flavoured recipe). I have found it tasted superb when sprinkled lightly on some plain, salted chips.

For those who want to know how Piri Piri tastes, its very close to the Maggie masala you get inside the normal Maggie one.Just a little more hot and spicy. Otherwise it is very close to the Maggie masala magic.

UPDATAEProduct were cheap when kiya food were selling these product now these product are coming from different sellers and they increased price, last time i buyed it for 90rs now its 110rs and no guarantee that stock will be fresh till it reach us.Packing is nice enough with three type of sprinkle. Taste is good different spices blend together to create a taste including peri peri, taste is not of stock peri peri thought, in other words not strong peri peri taste but it give peri peri kind of flavour, i would have liked it more if quantity of peri peri would have added more, but its still nice one compare to other products selling online, good for starters.

Taste wise it tastes like peri peri masala. The packaging is also good. But but but the masala fall in chunks and not smooth powder form. So doesnt stick on what u sprinkle it but slips down from food. This is my second purchase facing same problem. This masala should be smooth and fine to fall easily from sprinkler. Frst i thought may be it got damp inside but sabe with second purchase

Too corse grinded. So it settles at the bottom if you try on any fries or pop corn. Need medium fine grind. More chilli spicy but less tasty. You can use more as it gets too hot. Gets hard in the box within couple of months. Cant use after that. Overall all average not that finger licking good. I would rather buy Mc donols peri peri next time.

It has a distinct Piri Piri flavour and full points for that. But it's so mild you'll need to use half the jar just to coat 100 grams of cashews. And Piri Piri supposed to be super hot! But hot this ain't.Given the mildness, the quantity and price do not give good value for money.
