These are NOT prepacked items by weight but are filled, weighed AND then packed. As a result it's upto the packer to add Mustard oil. Mine came without Oil which has it's advantage or disadvantage as you may consider it. The advantage is that you're paying for only the pickle without the weight of Oil. The disadvantage lies that should you desire to keep it for a longer period then it would certainly turn rancid. The Company has to a certain extent added a little too much Salt which may act as a preservative though ultimately in the outcome drowns the true pickle taste. For those who do not mind it's extra Salt content may like to give it a try.
