It was useful for baking cake for Christmas ,as i couldnt soak the fruits on time , ordered thrice and came on time. However only if the quantity was more, it would have saved me ordering a few times ,also more dry fruits should,orange peel ,candy ginger and cherries were missing,thats why giving 3 stars.

I accidentally bought it and thought it was cake ???????. I know it is written but due to the sheer excitement i didn't check properly, make sure you don't make that mistake. This only has the rum soaked dry fruits.

Searched for cake in Silkrute, and got this item in the result. I thought this is a cake, even the images of cake is shown in the product page. But it is dry fuits soaked in rum. Silkrute just confused me.

This made a wonderful input to an Xmas cake which we ate slowly over ten days, the cake only getting better and better with time. My only grouse is that the gross weight was only 285 gms (in its packaging), so the net weight was certainly significantly off from the stated 300 gms, so one has to make up the deficit in nuts, dates and figs and of course, morerum or liqueur.
