There was no silica inside the packet. It smelled terrible, and I had to throw everything away. The worst part is I thought the strong smell was natural, and I ate two spoonfuls, which made me sick for two to three days. I showed it to my doctor, and he confirmed that the seed was rotten. He said If there is no silica gel packet inside a packet of seeds, moisture can accumulate, causing the seeds to become damp. This can lead to mold growth, rotting etc, ultimately making the seeds unsafe to consume. shelf life and quality is the worst I have ever seen that’s why it was selling cheap.
