The almonds were small and full of oil (as they should be). I use them to extract oil at home for home use. It gave oil in ratio of 2:1 - which is standard. However the weight of almonds was less. It was 460gms instead of 500 gms (8% less), as they seem to have measured 500gms including packing and anti moisture silica gel inside the pack.

Disadvantages
These almonds are not eatable as every other almond is bitter in taste. For every almond, you have to first taste and then throw and spit if bitter and eat if taste good. Somehow ai finished one pack and this is not the way we can eat. Hence California almond is the only solution.

4 out of 5 almonds tried are very bitter and have to spit out. Simply inedible. Sadly, amazon says this item is non-returnable and no refund, whatever happened to AtoZ guarantee! Complete waste of money. Just disgusting.

The quality is extremely bad. Randomly many pieces taste bitter. Some are way too small. The entire lot size is medium. There was not a single large piece in the packet. Amazon should remove such seller. Incidently, the same brand used to be very good. So we have been ordering from SFT without any second thought. But recently there is something wrong with the company. It is for this reason that I did not even open the packet and check the content unless my old lot finished and hence I even missed the return window. SFT, please stop playing with the health of customers.
