I bought this thinking it is genuine organic cold pressed coconut oil. I have been using nirmal cold pressed coconut oil earlier which smells a lot more authentic.I was not happy with the smell or flavour. The product was sealed yet I have this feeling it has been adulterated.Also the sticker on it looks duplicate.I am not going to repurchase this from Silkrute.

I bought this oil on 1st feb 2k17. Today I'm reviewing it as its been few months of using it. Guyz if u really wanted to buy then I'd recommend u all to pls first consult ur dermatologist as it really harmed my face skin & scalp as well. I use to apply it on my face & use to put it in my hair mask so wht it did was it dried out my skin & scalp completely due to which i have to seek a doc. My face went frm best to worst & scalp all dried out which it was never before. Itsbeen almost a month I stopped using it. Now i can again feel my face got better bt still my scalp condition is same. I started taking medicine now for that.

I have purchased this oil just for checking that it is good or not, I have used many oils but this one seems to be a very good one, packaging is also good and bottle of oil have good strength, however you may face problems in oil withdrawal during winters.Also it is a certified organic oil, you should must give it a try, those who are suffering from hair fall should use it with combination of caster oil.

2 star less for delivering a 8 month old stock !!! The product has only 1 Year shelf life. That's okay because no preservatives and chemicals are used. I got this on April 5th 2019. I am left with just 3 MONTHS to use these 2 bottlesQuality is absolutely fine !!! Please deliver fresh stock

Was delivered soon, and with intact packaging. Thought the virgin coconut oil have neutral smell and taste, but it's very coconutty in smell as well as taste.Overall good purchase though.

Based on my research we need to evaluate the taste, aroma and appearance when evaluating coconut oil.The appearance is yellow which indicates some residue during processing before it is cold pressed. A good non-refined oil should be colorless.Moreover having oils in plastic containers degrades the quality over time. Glass containers would be a better option.But the taste and aroma must be coconut like and not roasted and nutty and this oil indeed wins in this aspect.The cap is also nice as it dispenses the right amount everytime.I use it on my hair and in making Tomato curry and it has worked great for me.Based on the cost and being organic and considering that it is not Virgin it is a reasonable and good quality product.
