The Ghee bought doesn't have the natural scent of a ghee. In fact it has no odour at all. Iam little sceptical of the process that must have been followed to extract this ghee.

I have tried Desi Ghees of different Brands and Different Cows like Gir and Tharparkar.The following are my observations:1. This is the only Malnad Gidda Cow ghee available on Silkrute currently.2. There is QR code on top of the Ghee Lid and scanning that will take you to a lab test report which says about the various tests conducted on the authenticity of the ghee, date of testing and the farmer from which it was sourced. So very good thing to provide such test certificates of authenticity.3. The ghee looks and tastes like genuine Desi Ghee.4. The aroma is good.5. Taste is good.6. The ghee is provided in a Glass jar and the packaging used to deliver was unique and very good, so that no issues of leakage or breakage happen.6. It is a bit pricey compared to other Gir Desi Cow brands but again since Malnad Gidda Cow produces lesser quantity of milk compared to Gir cows this price difference is expected and also justifiable.6. Finally Malnad Gidda cows have become rare nowadays. Purchasing this ghee will also support the mission to save the Malnad Gidda breed of cows.Overall I do recommend this brand of Ghee to anyone looking for Desi A2 Cow Ghee and especially Ghee from Malnad Gidda.

I have been using Desi Cow Ghee intensively, in diet and as nasal drops, regularly, since February 2016. Due to being away from my trusted vendor Emerald Mithai Shop at Lower Tank Bund in Hyderabad, currently I purchased Indic Organics' free-grazing Malnad Gidda desi cow ghee. The experience from remote location, has been faultless. I just wish I or someone I know, can view in-person the making process. We live in a world where the model of economics we are trapped in, is extremely vicious and totally unsustainable. Let me add: I totally support the "honest food movement" of Indic Organics. But let me add, the Bhaarateeya model of direct contact between the producer/manufacturer and the consumer, is the only sustainable option!

not a pure ghee anymore I had ordered 2nd time of this brand first time texture & quality was very good but this time it looks like ordinary ghee which is available at local shop around RS 700/kg I think this is waste of money considering so called a2 brand and high cost
