I used this product to make aapams. The appams came out nice and fluffy. Directions for use -- I prepared it differently from the method described on the box. I put half a teaspoon of yeast into a little warm water (not hot water, which kills the yeast). To this I added a little bit of sugar and a pinch of rice flour. Within 5-10 minutes, the solution was full of bubbles. I poured this mixture into the appam mix and made the appams in an appachetty. I am giving this feedback for the benefit of other people so that they are informed about the product and its use.
