A perfect refreshing blend apt for indian taste buds. The ingredients are natural and organic . The ingredients are clearly visible. The packaging is also good and sealed properly. The name itself says its quality. One cup in the morning and you will refreshed. The ingredients are quite interesting and it contains, rose petals, tulsi, lemon peel orange peel and many more. The ingredients are also beneficial for health. I would definately reccomend this to everyone.

‘Shanti’ means Peace and as the name suggests, this tea totally justifies its name Shanti given to it. ~ Its a natural blend of tulsi leaf and other Indian herbs & spices which are best known to provide mental strength, boosting memory, mental clarity and improve a lot of other emotional imbalances. ~the tea smells absolutely divine with a refeshing and calming aroma. ~the flavour is completely herbal, mainly with hints of fennel, licorice and ofcourse basil. ~Just a cup in the morning makes me feel super energised, awaken and calm. It really uplifts my mood be it any time of the day.

With stress levels shooting through the roof these days, a tea like this is godsend. The name "shanti" tea suggesting peace and tranquility was definitely a catch but having tried it, I can vouch for the quality and standard too. Do bear in mind, this is not a "tea" in the conventional sense. It is more a herbal infusion. The strongest flavour/smell in the blend is that of Licorice. Now Licorice is basically Mulethi, a revered medicinal plant in Ayurveda known for a wide host of health benefits. I have had it in powder form during an Ayurvedic treatment a few yrs back and hence could recognise its unique smell in this tea. If it is your first time, you may find it a bit odd but rest assured it is going to do wonders to your health. I did not find any other ingredient as overpowering as Licorice although there definitely is a fresh+citrus-y taste that can be attributed to peppermint, lemongrass, lemon and orange peel. Rose petals are clearly visible and in abundance although their smell is lost in the final brew as is the case with Lavender. But knowing that these in addition to Ashwagandha, Holy basil and Brahmi have been added is a comforting thought. I brew this tea as many as 3 times! The third brew is definitely weaker than the first two times but still good enough to be had. I have begun to have this tea in the evenings and it is certainly bringing me "shanti"! And is a good companion for sleep. All in all, a winner all the way. Will I buy it again? Absolutely!!!
